It always has been enlightening to chat with a person who has traversed many years on this earth and has a multitude of life experiences to share. There’s always a gem of wisdom that comes from listening, as if somehow this knowledge was tailor-made and given just at the right time for you to receive it. Equally enlightening is when information is shared by a person who is well versed in subject matter that you’re interested in. The sharing of their wisdom will add to your knowledge base and ultimately add to your own wisdom.

Having these broad experiences allows one to witness from a widened view, one that is of an expanded landscape not from the myopic perspective of a limited awareness. A collection of personal experiences that over time produce an expansive perspective, lead you on the path to Recognizing Wisdom.

In order to recognize wisdom you have to be in a knowing state. You have to know your content (whatever that may be for you), it has to be an innate feeling of knowledge, not doubt..Just a solid knowing. Time and experience are building blocks for wisdom that create the knowing state. Allowing experiences to freely arise without input –  just observing and seeing what shows up – will provide the gap of awareness that leads to the next moment. In that next moment, the soft-spoken inner voice of wisdom will provide the knowing action, or non-action, the next everything.

This pause, allow, and observe process enables you to Go Towards Your Wisdom. By exercising and using the process, it expands your landscape and you become more aware of what your inner compass is saying rather than just responding mindlessly to what is arising. Emotional regulation is engaged and your responses are coming from a steady-state and clarity. This becomes part of your language and places you in your wisest state of being.

Enjoy the Journey~
